ANTHONY HALL

Anthony started on his artistic journey during the pandemic. He had extra time at home and began to browse instagram and YouTube out of boredom. He was inspired so much by some of the artists and creativity that he found! He was so inspired that he went to Hobby Lobby the very next day to purchase canvases and paint. After making mistakes of the first few canvases, the next one piece gave me enough confidence to take it to a market! And at the market the set designer of a TV show (Legacies) of CW saw the piece and was completely impressed. Shortly after asking him about the art, she would end up buying it and sending me a contract agreement for the piece to be on the TV show. At that moment he knew the Lord had given him something!

JIM HAVERLAND

Jim began his painting career at the age of 10, when he received a Paint-By-Number oil painting kit. Painting and drawing continued through college when he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame. Two Professors, specifically, honed and expanded his skill set as they focused on his drawing ability, landscape techniques, and enhanced compositional needs.

Throughout the years he has continued his painting, in lieu of other job pursuits, but never trying to sell his artwork. Wedding presents, birthday gifts, portrait requests, and landscape requests were pleasantly greeted and completed – no charge!

After completing the writing and illustration of three Children’s Books, Jim decided to bring his Art talent to the Market, and, in his first show, sold 2 paintings. That was followed by joining the Alpharetta Arts Guild in 2022, where, in his first Guild Art Show, was 1 of 5 Artists who sold their artwork. In 2023, he sold 3 commissioned paintings plus added more artwork to his portfolio.

His loves? Family first! Oil painting, some watercolor paintings! Landscapes, seascapes, and animal portraits! Large versus small! Realism over abstract! If it’s pretty and challenging – he’ll do it!
